Job Summary

The Emergency Department at Dignity Health Arizona General Hospial (Glendale) is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead and empower our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Registered Nurses, overseeing clinical operations.
• Advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals.
• Lead and mentor Registered Nurses, overseeing clinical operations.
• Measure employee performance and assist in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members.
• Coordinate the activities of the unit during a particular shift and direct, organize, and assign work to the nursing staff.
• Assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care.
• Institute emergency procedures as necessary.
• Provide nursing care to patients on an as needed basis.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• AZ RN license or Compact State
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
• One (1) year of leadership experience
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Suppport (ACLS)
• Pediactric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Pay

$54.76 - $81.45 /hour
