Job Summary
The Emergency Department at Dignity Health Arizona General Hospial (Glendale) is seeking a Nursing Manager to lead and empower our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Registered Nurses, overseeing clinical operations.
- Advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals.
- Lead and mentor Registered Nurses, overseeing clinical operations.
- Measure employee performance and assist in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members.
- Coordinate the activities of the unit during a particular shift and direct, organize, and assign work to the nursing staff.
- Assess, monitor, and educate the nursing staff on patient care.
- Institute emergency procedures as necessary.
- Provide nursing care to patients on an as needed basis.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- AZ RN license or Compact State
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
- One (1) year of leadership experience
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Suppport (ACLS)
- Pediactric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Pay
$54.76 - $81.45 /hour
