About the role
Abound Credit Union is seeking a Manager, Member Solutions / Collections to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to serving hardworking Kentuckians and a passion for creating a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Expertise in regulatory, legal, and compliance impact of government and other secondary market loans, escrow, and private mortgage insurance (PMI).
- Maintain a detailed understanding of regulatory requirements and expectations for credit union collections, third party collections, overdraft services, and deceased accounts.
- Manage loss mitigation, recoveries, overdraft accounts, imaging, and deceased accounts to ensure smooth and efficient work flow.
- Support the Director by maintaining the team calendar and ensuring adequate staffing to meet monthly goals.
- Manage and monitor all aspects of collection for negative shares, including returned checks, overdraft protection program, approval and monitoring of work out courtesy pay loans.
- Support the team responsible for legal actions, foreclosures, and bankruptcies, ensuring adequate tracking and reporting of activity.
- Review and approve accounts recommended for legal action and perform cost-benefit analysis for settlement and legal decisions.
- Approve strategies for repossessions on auto and other secured vehicles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field obtained through a formal 4-year program, or equivalent work experience.
- Supervisory and management experience.
- Superior communication skills.
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all situations.

Pay
$62.323.77 - $77,904.72 / annually
