CJ ENM also operates KCON, the largest Korean pop culture fan convention and concert series, which launched in LA as a one-day event in 2012 and has exponentially scaled over a decade to become a global event that has expanded from Los Angeles to New York and across the world to destinations like Japan, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Paris. CJ ENM has played a key role in not only leading Korea’s culture and content in entertainment for the past 25 years, but also continues to grow the expansion of Korean entertainment globally. Position Overview : CJ ENM is building its U.S. direct advertising sales business, beginning with its FAST/CTV portfolio and expanding over time into YouTube and other digital media inventory. We are looking for an experienced and proactive media sales professional who can help develop relationships with U.S. brands and agencies, build a strong sales pipeline, and grow new advertising revenue. This person will work closely with key internal teams to grow CJ ENM’s U.S. advertising business and refine the go-to-market approach. The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially minded, and works well in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Build and grow CJ ENM's U.S. direct advertising sales business, initially focused on FAST/CTV Develop relationships with U.S. brands, agencies, and agency holding companies Play a key role across the sales process, from prospecting and pitch development through negotiation and close Build a pipeline of new advertisers and agency partners Work with internal teams to develop media plans, proposals, and advertiser solutions Bring market feedback to help shape pricing, packaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy Expand advertiser relationships over time across YouTube and other CJ ENM digital inventory Qualifications: 5+ years of U.S. digital media advertising sales experience, ideally on the publisher or media platform side, with level determined based on experience and qualifications Experience selling digital video, CTV, streaming, or other premium digital media inventory Demonstrated experience managing a sales pipeline and delivering revenue targets and other key sales KPIs Proven experience generating revenue through direct advertiser or agency relationships Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with major U.S. media agencies, brands, and advertising decision-makers Strong understanding of CPMs, impressions, inventory, and campaign delivery Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a growing business Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and levels of the organization Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of programmatic advertising Strong interest in and understanding of K-content, K-pop, entertainment, and fandom-driven audiences Korean language proficiency preferred, but not required Who Will Thrive in This Role: Someone who is excited to help grow a new business, takes initiative in developing opportunities, and enjoys working closely with others to turn ideas into revenue.
