Responsibilities

• Report to the Plant Manager and lead the plant maintenance team to maintain, troubleshoot and repair the plant equipment.
• Practice and enforce safe practices within your department.
• Train employees on safety and best practices.
• Ensure employees are trained on job specific assignments.
• Maintenance of pneumatic valves on optical sorting machines and other industrial equipment.
• Provide support to collaborating with Sibelco glass processing plants, regionally and nationwide, in the operation and maintenance of optical sorting machines and other industrial equipment.
• Your Impact in This Role includes but are not limited to:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Preferred: 10+ years of Maintenance experience including 3-5 years of Supervisory experience.
• Leverage Lean Manufacturing experience, 5s, and/or Six Sigma certification.
• College Degree or technical training, preferred.
• 480vAC/3/60 3ph electrical troubleshooting.
• Able to lead and direct the work of others.
• To manage time and prioritize effectively.
• To read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics preferred.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• ERP systems experience (SAP a plus).
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with TPM Maintenance Program.
