Responsibilities

  • Ensures routine preventative maintenance is performed and documented on all system machinery according to the Sterigenics Monthly Preventative Maintenance Reports.
  • Maintains records pertaining to maintenance within quality system requirements and updates the EAM system.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on forklifts and other specialized equipment not included in the PM program.
  • Affirms that equipment is clean and operational without impediments.
  • Monitors spare parts inventory as defined by engineering and tool inventory.
  • Assists with work order completion and filing.
  • Maintains 24/7 on-call status for troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoots issues with plant personnel before contacting Corporate Engineering.
  • Serves as a liaison between Corporate Engineering and the General Manager on facility improvement projects.
  • Ensures all work complies with facility work instructions and company EH&S standards.
  • Participates in facility safety programs to enhance safety compliance.
  • Ensures contractors meet Sterigenics’ EH&S program requirements.
  • Assists with special projects as directed by the General Manager and Corporate Engineering.
  • Maintains vendor lists.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years maintenance experience with two (2) years in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
  • Strong communications skills – listening, written, verbal, presentation.
  • Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering schematics.

Training

  • Required to complete all training for a “Maintenance Manager / Supervisor / Technician” as outlined in the training manual.
  • General supervisory training.

Pay and Benefits

Salary Range: $92,000 - $149,000 per year, depending on experience.
