Manager Maintenance
About the role
The Maintenance Manager position provides leadership, expertise, and direction to facilitate a culture of continuous improvement with regards to efficiencies in the plant. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement actions to deliver improved equipment reliability through the identification of top losses, evaluation of work processes, and management of repair and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Leads all Maintenance groups.
- Works with Reliability Specialist to support all Reliability systems to include, but not exclusive to: Preventive Maintenance, Lubrication, Predictive Maintenance, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S), and Precision Maintenance.
- Supports Loss Identification systems to include, but not exclusive to: Breakdown Elimination (BDE), and along with the Reliability Specialist, supports the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) program, and is responsible for the completion of RCA corrective actions to permanently eliminate failures.
- Provides recommendations and data for equipment reliability improvements.
- Works with Maintenance Repair & Operations (MRO) teams to manage spares strategy to include, but not exclusive to: Critical Spare analysis, purchasing processes.
- Works with area Planners to develop and maintain Planned Maintenance (PM) and Lubrication routes.
- Works closely with the Line Structure Team to help support the production line and improve the reliability of the overall site.
- Actively supports the Planned Maintenance (PM) Pillar and actively participates with Pillar Teams at all other plants.
- Supports the planning & execution processes of the Capital Program for the plant team working with the Engineering team to ensure that key plant resources are available as needed.
- Responsible to Development and maintaining the plant maintenance and one-shot budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical a plus).
- 3-5 Years Supervisory/Management experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience leading and managing a team preferred.
- Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
- Prior experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferred knowledge of Maximo and SAP a plus.
- Basic accounting knowledge preferred.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the stated requirements.
Skills
- Computer literacy.
- Experience with CMMS.
- Knowledge of Maximo and SAP.

Pay
A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below. Pay Rate or Range: $95,020.00 - $142,520.00
