Manager M&A Accounting
About the role
The role is part of a 4-persons team based at the WHQ in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the process of accounting for and reporting of Carrier acquisitions and divestitures.
- Aid with strategic and tactical aspects of deal accounting, including the drafting of accounting work plans.
- Collaborate with Carrier businesses during a divestiture or joint venture reorganization to execute accounting work plans.
- Assist with planning and coordinating acquisition integration reviews.
- Perform technical accounting analysis to support local and central teams.
- Support the annual Carrier goodwill and intangibles impairment testing, including updating associated DCF models, net book value allocations, and roll-forward of accounting memos.
- Support the supervision of M&A accruals/invoices.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting and an active CPA license.
- 5+ years accounting experience handling M&A activities (acquisitions and divestitures).
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
Preferred Requirements
- Ability to work self-directedly and collaboratively within a matrixed environment.
Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
