What You’ll Do
- Deal Sourcing & Origination
- Build and maintain a proprietary pipeline of small and mid-size staffing acquisition targets across the U.S.
- Travel extensively to meet directly with owners, founders, and brokers — relationship-building is the core of this role.
- Develop and execute outbound sourcing strategies (direct outreach, banker relationships, conferences, industry networking).
- Maintain detailed market intelligence on staffing sub-sectors (IT, healthcare, light industrial, professional, executive search, etc.).
- Transaction Execution
- Lead deal evaluation: financial analysis, valuation modeling and synergy assessment.
- Structure transactions including purchase price, earnouts, rollover equity, seller notes, and working capital mechanics.
- Manage end-to-end due diligence workstreams across financial, commercial, legal, tax, HR, and operational areas.
- Draft and negotiate LOIs, term sheets, and key transaction documents alongside external counsel.
- Career Path
- Clear path to promotion into a Director of M&A role as the platform grows.
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of relevant M&A experience at a private equity firm, investment bank, corporate development team, or M&A advisory group — ideally with deal exposure to staffing businesses.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Working knowledge of deal structures common in staffing M&A (earnouts, rollover, seller financing, working capital pegs).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to meet sellers in their markets.
