Manager, IT Portfolio Management

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, IT Portfolio Management to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will guide the portfolio management discipline for IT initiatives, ensuring technology investments are aligned with strategic business priorities. You will shape governance, methodology, and analysis processes that support informed decision‑making across IT and business partners. The position also plays a key leadership role in driving change control, risk management, and team performance within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of project management methodologies.
• Manage the development portfolio strategy and analysis processes.
• Build trust‑based partnerships across IT and business units.
• Facilitate portfolio management for strategic technology alignment.
• Develop a change control and risk management strategy.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
• Inspire and motivate team members toward achieving organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

Skills

• Proficiency with ServiceNow, Flexera, and/or BDNA.
• Familiarity with JIRA and data analysis.

Pay

Compensation: $102,900 – $190,500 annually.
