About the Role
This position involves participating in solution development and system repair tasks, leading cross-functional teams, and managing project implementation from planning to completion. The role also includes human resources responsibilities for staff and budget management.
Responsibilities
- Identify requirements, design specifications, develop solutions, conduct testing, and coordinate implementation and issue management.
- Provide regular and comprehensive status reports to management.
- Lead cross-functional teams through all aspects of project planning, implementation, and completion.
- Manage project implementation schedules, analyze plan variances, and take corrective actions to ensure successful completion.
- Establish detailed work plans and estimates for all project phases and monitor progress against baseline plans.
- Facilitate timely resolution of issues.
- Assist with technology integration to align initiatives with key business drivers and customer goals.
- Create, monitor, and manage staffing levels and production expectations.
- Work with vendors to resolve product issues, provide product development guidance, and escalate major service issues.
- Establish service level agreements and resolve deficiencies quickly.
- Provide status and issue updates to end-user management and key stakeholders.
- Promote independent and team research into new technologies and solutions.
- Perform human resources responsibilities, including interviewing, selection, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, and resolution of employee concerns.
- Develop and recommend operating and capital budgets and control expenditures within approved budget objectives.
- Ensure compliance with the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and applicable policies, regulations, and laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 3 years of experience in solution development and support, including 1 year of supervisory experience in a multi-discipline environment (including matrix management).
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred remote locations in IL, WI, NC, GA. This is a fully remote role available from the following states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY. No relocation or visa sponsorship is available for this position.

- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise organization structures, workflow, and business system architecture and technology.
- Ability to interact and work through technical requirements with clients to formulate project design and implementation requirements.
- Demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain and communicate technical design decisions to users.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills when consulting with internal and external partners.
- Leadership abilities, including project and staff coordination, motivating staff toward common goals, and mentoring new and existing staff.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities, and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and present data.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- This position requires travel and may be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
