Manager IT Applications - Le Mars, IA or Chicago, IL
Plan, direct, analyze, design, develop, maintain, and improve business processes and corresponding software applications to enable the Finance department, aligned with priorities set by Finance and IT Leadership. Supervise all members of the assigned team, with at least one direct report.
Responsibilities
- Lead team projects, providing direction to team members and internal customers while prioritizing based on organizational needs and available resources.
- Provide feedback and reporting on project status.
- Assist Finance in determining organizational needs, translating them into well-scoped, documented requirements, and prioritizing projects based on business strategy.
- Document application systems and procedures (e.g., test scripts, maintenance, processes, training, customer documentation) to ensure compliance with department standards and proper handoff to the testing team.
- Provide ongoing information, support, and training for internal customers and team members.
- Test and debug application systems to ensure accuracy, standards compliance, and acceptable transaction response times while adhering to deadlines.
- Exhibit proficient technical skills for developing, implementing, and maintaining business software applications within specified time frames.
- Serve as the front-line contact with software vendors for installation, upgrades, and support issues related to Finance business areas.
- Plan, monitor, coordinate, and direct activities of contracted personnel supporting projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in a related field.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $107,176 to $171,336 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
