Job Overview
The Manager IT Applications – Epic Ambulatory and Population Health plays a critical leadership role at the intersection of technology and care transformation. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or relevant fields of study, or equivalent experience
- Epic Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Value-Based Program Management experience
- Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer-service orientation
- 5-7 years experience in a related field
Job Responsibilities
- Complete staff performance recommendations on time
- Recommend disciplinary action or promotion path as appropriate
- Manage project resources appropriately to ensure quality of work life balance
- Provide team leadership to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget within the project schedule
- Removes barriers to ensure projects and initiatives move forward on schedule
- Escalates concerns appropriately while providing recommendations for resolution
- Performs definition, preliminary analysis, resource planning, project scheduling and develops project plans utilizing current methodologies and standards
- When appropriate, provides input related to project budget planning and forecasting
- Ensures that project solutions, system acquisitions and modifications meet the goals and objectives of the requesting department
- Provides guidance and direction to team members to ensure quality procedures, techniques and standards are followed
