Essential Job Functions
- Contract Reporting
- Review and understand investor reporting aspects of new master, primary and special contracts
- Establish reporting requirements
- Design reports as necessary
- Assign to appropriate staff
- Monitor existing master, primary and special contracts to assure compliance and efficiency of delivery of funds and reports
- Review and understand Agency and Life Pension Reporting aspects
- Establish reporting requirements
- Design reports as necessary
- Assign to appropriate staff
Staffing
- Hire, train, and supervise Investor Reporting team
- Set performance standards
- Provide performance reviews
- Address employee concerns
- Motivate
- Provide special recognition
- Evaluate Investor Reporting team tasks against human resources in conjunction with existing and projected servicing volumes
Processes and Procedures
- Provide leadership to the Investor Reporting team to define all reporting processes
- Establish procedures
- Provide training for implementation
- Evaluate and monitor the reporting processes and procedures
- Work with IT to automate and streamline processes as necessary
Communication
- Receive and effectively handle communications from external parties in a timely manner
- Provide clear and concise communications to internal parties relative to KBREC goals, objectives, expectations and other issues
Customer Service
- Provide quality and timely responses to all Investor Reporting customers (senior management, portfolio teams, third party customers, i.e. rating agencies, trustees, investors, borrowers, vendors, etc.)
Required Skills
- B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related business field and/or comparable experience
- Minimum of three years Investor Reporting experience
- Knowledge of CREFC Life/Pension and/or Agency Reporting
- Detail-oriented with ability to see big picture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a high degree of analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills, efficiently handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial mortgage loan servicing, accounting or loan operations
- Working knowledge of McCracken/Strategy loan servicing system
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficient
Equipment Used
- Personal Laptop Computer with Dual Monitors
- Standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, calculator)
Training Provided
- On-the-job
- Designated continuing education and related courses throughout the year (35 hours minimum annually)
Compensation and Benefits
- This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually
- Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location
- Certification for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives
