For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Manager of Internal Audit to strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. This position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead complex risk-based audits from planning through reporting
- Evaluate effectiveness of governance, risk management, compliance, and internal controls
- Build trusted partnerships with business leaders to communicate risks and improvements
- Support development and execution of the Bank's annual risk-based audit plan
- Coordinate audit activities with the company Holdings Internal Audit and co-sourced providers
- Leverage data analytics and automation to enhance audit quality and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, regulatory oversight, or financial services
- Experience auditing financial services organizations like banking, fintech, lending, or payments
- Proven ability to independently lead audits from planning through reporting
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk-based auditing, and governance
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
Pay
$133,400 – $184,600 annually
