MANAGER INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

About the role

The Manager of ICU has the primary responsibility for overseeing daily patient care operations for assigned areas. Required to frequently apply a set of management principles to a specialized discipline. Must be capable of independent judgment and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services and administrative or professional programs. Has twenty-four (24) hour accountability for assigned areas.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Nursing
• Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Good written and oral communication skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (preferred)
• Two (2) years clinical experience in specialty area (preferred)
