Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector (NGAS) has an opening for a Manager Industrial Security 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Security organization in Clearfield, UT. This leadership role focuses on developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  • Prepare manuals outlining regulations and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  • Develop and implement a security education program.
  • Oversee internal security audits.
  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
  • Provide direction to security team members to assist with the execution of their statement of work and professional development.
  • Lead a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application of leadership characteristics.
  • Ensure employee engagement across the team.
  • Collaborate across teams within the Security organization.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to professionals at all levels.
  • Develop and implement security policy and standards across the program.
  • Ensure all program performance objectives, key milestones, and deliverables are met.
  • Manage a security budget within an established target.
  • Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions: PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Investigations, and Document Control Management.

This position offers a 1st shift, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, learning opportunities, exposure to a variety of projects and customers, and a friendly team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military-related experience, OR
  • Master’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military-related experience, OR
  • High School Diploma AND 10+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military-related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed in the last 5 years) and the ability to obtain special program access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), as well as DoD Manuals and other US Government security manuals.
  • Ability to execute Security and Program Management concepts.
  • Experience managing multiple function teams across the program enterprise.
  • Experience working in SAP and SCI Programs.
  • Experience working with ICD705 Construction Security Requirements.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $115,000.00 - $172,400.00. The range represents a general guideline; actual offers consider the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
