Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application of leadership characteristics in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  • Prepare manuals outlining regulations and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting access to restricted materials.
  • Develop and implement security education programs.
  • Oversee internal security audits.
  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
  • Provide directions to security team members to assist with execution of their statement of work.
  • Assist with team members' professional development and growth.
  • Ensure employee engagement and collaboration across teams within the Security organization.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to professionals at all levels.
  • Develop and implement security policy and standards across the program enterprise.
  • Ensure all program performance objectives, key milestones, and deliverables are met.
  • Manage a security budget within an established target.
  • Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions, including Physical Security, COMSEC, Investigations, and Document Control Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing industries, or military-related experience; OR Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience; OR High School Diploma and 10+ years of experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management, supervisory, or other demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (granted or renewed within the last 5 years) and ability to obtain special program access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage diverse and dispersed security programs and teams across multiple disciplines, including Program/Industrial Security, Facility Security Officer (FSO), Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Information/Cyber Security, COMSEC, Physical Security, Personnel Security, and International Security.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers.
  • Knowledge and experience with ICD 705 construction and accreditation processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in development of complex security plans and proposal writing.
  • Experience with Government/Industry Security Organizations (ISWG, NDIA, AIA, NCMS, etc.).
  • Proven experience in planning and managing staffing and hiring processes for large teams.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.

Pay

Primary salary range: $115,000.00 – $172,400.00. The final offer considers scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Schedule

1st shift, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off.
