Manager, Industrial Engineering – Workforce Intelligence
Position Summary
Join Workforce Intelligence to help ensure our labor standards and workforce management insights reflect what’s happening in stores and translate into measurable operational impact. In this role, you’ll connect field observation with data-driven analysis to guide process improvements, support governance, and help partners understand the labor and productivity implications of change.
What you'll do
- Analyze store processes using work measurement methods (e.g., time studies, predetermined time-motion systems) to establish and maintain labor standards.
- Use workforce management (WFM) tools and reporting to monitor outputs, validate results, and identify anomalies or performance gaps.
- Perform routine quality checks and troubleshooting to ensure WFM outputs are accurate, consistent, and aligned to governance expectations.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational changes, communicate impacts, and support adoption of updated standards and processes.
- Evaluate process changes and estimate impacts to labor hours, productivity, utilization, and cost/benefit.
- Observe work in the field and incorporate learnings into continuous improvement recommendations and updates to standards.
- Provide project updates, timelines, and technical requirements to stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Support continuous improvement by comparing current processes to internal standards and industry best practices.

What you’ll bring
- Experience applying work measurement techniques and using data to improve operational performance.
- Strong analytical skills (daily data analysis) and comfort explaining findings to non-technical partners.
- Strong Excel skills; SQL familiarity is helpful for pulling/modifying data.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and operate with a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Willingness to travel (estimated 25–30%) to observe processes in the field.
- Experience with MOST or equivalent predetermined time systems (certification preferred, not required).

- The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
- Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and 2 years’ experience in industrial engineering, work measurement, continuous improvement, or related field OR 4 years’ experience in industrial engineering, work measurement, continuous improvement, or related field.
