About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager who will take care of our two US based legal entities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling operational and strategic HR and strong leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate will be part of the local management team and will report locally to the Regional Controller with a strong matrix to the global divisional HR Business Partner.
Responsibilities
- Respond to HR queries, providing accurate information and quality advice
- Manage all HR aspects including personnel files, right to work checks, Visa documentation, reference checks, probationary reviews, holiday requests, grievances, disciplinaries, performance management, and exit interviews
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes
- Manage benefits (pension, healthcare)
- Ensure compliance and correctness of monthly payroll, liaise with external payroll provider, and process payroll together with the local payroll administrator
- Maintain and update HR records (HRIS) in compliance with DPA and GDPR
- Support global HR initiatives and share best practices
- Promote a performance culture as well as safety, diversity, inclusion, and customer excellence
- Ensure legal compliance in HR management
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Manager
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases, including payroll
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Trustworthy, with excellent communication skills
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Experience in change management
Qualifications
- College degree in HR, business administration, or related field
- Professional certifications in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR)

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
