The Operations team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for a Manager General Manufacturing 2 based out of Woodland Hills, CA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and administer budgets, execute, and recommend modifications to organizational processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with Woodland Hills manufacturing organizations, engineering, program office, contracts, mission assurance, transportation, and supply chain management.
- Oversee daily operations of a team or work cell, including direct supervision of staff.
- Assign work, schedules, day-to-day workflow, and manage operating costs.
- Provide direction to subordinates using established policies and procedures.
- Support targeted training plan execution for new operators to ensure proficiency is obtained and maintained.
- Work with other functional areas to ensure program goals are executed in support of cost, schedule, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of experience; Master’s Degree + 3 years of experience; Ph.D + 0 years of experience (an additional 4+ years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace and manufacturing.
- Experience solving problems on the manufacturing floor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management discipline.
- 5+ years of related experience performing in a Production Control/Material Control or Supervisory role.

Pay
Primary level salary range: $121,100.00 – $181,700.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and current market conditions when determining base salary offers.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
