About the role
Parkhurst Dining, a brand of Eat'n Park Hospitality Group, is searching for a General Manager 2 to join our team. The General Manager is the senior leader of the dining service department who is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing all activities and systems in a department whose managed volume is between $3.51-$7M annually. They are the top owner of the client for their assigned unit. This is the senior leader of the unit who is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing all activities and systems of the client. The General Manager ensures that Parkhurst standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are being met. This individual is responsible for budget development and compliance, revenue, innovation, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, service of food and department staffing. This leader functions as the key liaison with the client and is expected to make changes as needed to improve services, increase efficiency, manage costs, and meet client requirements. This position monitors the dining operations to ensure exceptional culinary experience for customers, clients, and guests. The General Manger is responsible for developing, coaching, and inspiring the management team to achieve department goals. This role also owns hourly recruiting and retention for their unit and partners with their DM on management staffing and retention.

What makes you a great fit
- 15+ years in professional food service, including 6+ years in a management role; degree in Culinary, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Skilled in planning, organizing, and directing dining operations, ensuring Parkhurst Standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Experience developing and managing budgets, tracking financial performance, meeting sales goals, and ensuring contract compliance.
- Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop management and hourly staff to build strong, effective teams.
- Ability to develop meaningful relationships with clients and guests, proactively respond to needs, and enhance satisfaction and retention.
Schedule
Full-time role averaging 50 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
