About the Group/Division
The KLA Services team, headquartered in Milpitas, CA, is our service organization encompassing Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. We partner with field teams and customers across all business sectors to maintain high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services, including:
- Proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance
- Expertise in optics, image processing, and motion control with worldwide service engineers
- 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems
- An extensive parts network ensuring worldwide availability
Responsibilities
- Direct the coordination of technical and administrative support activities, including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and engineering change upgrades at client sites
- Ensure adequate records and systems are maintained
- Schedule personnel to respond to critical situations
- Maintain communication with design management and specialists to resolve technical problems or escalate issues to the design department
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact for equipment under your charge
- Actively manage a team of engineers
- Drive internal and external communications, reporting, and escalation processes
Scope & Complexity
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives with defined goals and processes
- Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance
- Administers company policies affecting subordinate employees and recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies
- Works on issues requiring analysis of relevant factors and exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies
- Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules
Interaction & Supervision
- Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups, requiring the ability to gain cooperation and conduct technical presentations
- Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and skilled support personnel (e.g., technicians, designers, support staff)
- Acts as an advisor to units or sub-units and may become actively involved to meet schedules or resolve problems
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience of 3 years
Pay
Base pay range: $98,200.00 - $166,900.00 annually.

Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in Boise, ID. Actual pay depends on factors including state minimum wage rates, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
