Responsibilities
- Hires, evaluates, and supervises engineering crew.
- Provides coaching and development.
- Sets performance expectations, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Influences and coordinates work across global and matrixed engineering teams to achieve product and delivery objectives.
- Defines and owns the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for EHC and Gatekeeper products.
- Balances business priorities, user needs, and technical considerations to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- PARTNERS WITH PRODUCT, ARCHITECTURE, AND ENGINEERING LEADERS. ENSURES ALIGNMENT WITH ENTERPRISE STANDARDS AND PROMOTES SEAMLESS ADOPTION ACROSS TEAMS.
- DRIVES INNOVATION THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF AI AND AUTOMATION, INCLUDING ENABLING NEW INTERACTION MODELS SUCH AS AGENT-DRIVEN TESTING WORKFLOWS AND AUTONOMOUS EXECUTION PATTERNS.
- COMMUNICATES CLEARLY WITH STAKEHOLDERS ON PRODUCT DIRECTION, ROADMAP, AND OUTCOMES. BUILDS ALIGNMENT AND DRIVES ADOPTION THROUGH STRONG ENGAGEMENT AND PARTNERSHIP.
- OVERSEES CLIENT SUPPORT/CONSULTATIONS AND GENERAL OPERATIONAL PRODUCT SUPPORT.
- IDENTIFIES OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT IN TOOLING, PROCESSES, AND TEAM EFFECTIVENESS. ENCOURAGES LEARNING THROUGH RETROSPECTIVES, EXPERIMENTATION, AND CROSS-TEAM COLLABORATION.
Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years related work experience, including prior experience in software engineering or technical product delivery environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading technology teams, products, platforms, or delivery initiatives in a software engineering environment.
- Experience operating within modern software engineering environments, including cloud platforms, enterprise application architectures, system integrations, and contemporary software delivery practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business terms.
- Experience with project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment in software development.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect, PMP, or equivalent industry-recognized certifications.
