Manager, Enterprise Applications
TEKsystems is partnering with a local financial institution in Honolulu, Hawaii, to identify an experienced Manager, Enterprise Applications to lead a team responsible for enterprise applications, digital banking services, and business-critical technology platforms.
About the role
This individual will serve as a key technology leader, partnering with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives, support digital transformation efforts, and develop high-performing technical teams. The position is onsite in Honolulu for the first 90 days to support onboarding, team integration, and business operations. Following the initial onboarding period, the schedule transitions to a hybrid model with one remote workday per week.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of IT leadership experience, financial services industry knowledge, and the ability to translate business objectives into technology solutions while helping shape the organization's technology roadmap and future growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage application support, development, and technology teams.
- Partner with executive leadership to establish technology priorities and strategic roadmaps.
- Drive initiatives that improve digital services, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Oversee application lifecycle management, enhancements, implementations, and ongoing support.
- Manage and develop managers and individual contributors while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and financial services best practices.
- Support the organization's ongoing digital transformation and application modernization efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading technical teams in a bank, credit union, or other financial services organization.
- Strong understanding of application management, software development lifecycles, and technology operations.
- Proven experience mentoring, developing, and managing technical professionals.
- Experience leading technology projects and strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive leaders.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and business-critical systems.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, automation, or modernization initiatives is preferred.
- Core banking system experience is preferred but not required.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $179,000.00 per year.
