Manager, Engineering

Essential Functions

• Manages activities of Engineering team to design, manufacture and test components, products and systems.
• Solves problems using solutions that involve new techniques, technologies or concepts.
• Analyzes technology trends, human resource needs and market demand to plan projects.
• Advises management on new developments which may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations and /or inter-departmental relations.
• Formulate and maintain Engineering team focus.
• Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies which may improve operations and develops recommendations accordingly.
• Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
• Communicate regularly with other individuals/departments within the organization.

• Proficient skills using Microsoft Suite and other programs as needed.

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
