About the Role

The Manager of Employee Relations partners with HR and business leaders to support compliance initiatives, promote positive employee relations, and mitigate organizational risk. This role provides guidance on workforce relations matters, including policy interpretation, investigations, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. The Manager supports the development, implementation, and administration of HR policies, programs, and procedures while ensuring alignment with applicable employment laws and organizational objectives. This position also assists with organizational change initiatives, HR compliance activities, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance the employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations matters, including conducting workplace investigations and interpreting HR policies.
  • Apply employment laws and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Partner with leaders to resolve workplace issues and support business objectives.
  • Develop, revise, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures.
  • Draft and deliver HR training or educational resources.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and respond professionally in sensitive situations.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or related Human Resources role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, conducting workplace investigations, interpreting HR policies, and applying employment laws.
  • Current working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR compliance requirements, workplace investigations, and employee relations practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across HR and business teams while supporting organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrated commitment to respecting differences and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive HR experience.
  • Previous lead, project management, or supervisory experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Pay

The current salary range for this position is $58.76 to $96.54 per hour. Compensation decisions consider a variety of factors including experience, education, licensure, unique skillsets, organizational need, and internal equity.
