About the role
The Employee Relations Human Resources Manager is responsible for employee relations, investigations, coaching and counseling sessions, terminations, and union grievances. Other responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company policies, federal and local state laws, and performing basic HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations and conduct investigations
- Provide coaching and counseling sessions
- Handle terminations and manage union grievances
- Ensure compliance with company policies and laws
- Perform miscellaneous HR tasks as assigned
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Employee relations experience
- Ability to advise management and meet deadlines
- Compliance with FLSA and other applicable laws
- Computer literacy
- Calm, polite, and professional behavior
- Strong planning, organizing, and decision-making abilities
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
