Manager - EEG Neurodiagnostic Services
About the role
The Manager - EEG Neurodiagnostic Services provides strategic and operational leadership for EEG services across MaineHealth Southern Region locations and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in MMC Portland. The Manager is responsible for coordinating workflow to provide the most efficient, effective, safe, and comprehensive patient care. Working with clinical leaders, the Manager is responsible for program performance, ensuring quality, financial stewardship, staffing, accreditation, and the alignment of EEG and EMU operations across the region.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating workflow to provide the most efficient, effective, safe, and comprehensive patient care.
- Leading program performance, ensuring quality, financial stewardship, staffing, accreditation, and the alignment of EEG and EMU operations across the region.
- Leading EEG operations and staff.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality across routine EEG, ambulatory EEG, cEEG, EMU studies, and long-term monitoring.
- Prioritizing in fast-paced clinical environments and working independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program required.
- Current ABRET R. EEG T. credential and BLS certification required.
- Advanced ABRET credentials (CNIM, CLTM) preferred.
- 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in a medium or large healthcare setting preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading EEG operations and staff.
