Requirements
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience each visit. Some managers also lead Departments, which may include:
- Guest Service Department Manager: Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- Kitchen Department Manager: Ensure the restaurant delivers high-quality food and service, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
- People Department Manager: Hire and train qualified crew members, ensure they get off to a good start, and motivate them throughout their time working there. Also responsible for scheduling staff to meet sales and profit goals.
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred. Positive team players with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment are sought.
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to delegate tasks effectively and maintain high standards of customer service and food quality.
