Manager Donor and Community Engagement - Foundation (Days)

About the role

The Manager of Donor & Community Engagement supports the maintenance of strategic and beneficial relationships with the donors and partners of Tanner Medical Foundation and Tanner Health in support of sustained philanthropic support.

Responsibilities

• Raise visibility of the Tanner Foundation and support donor pipeline development and stewardship through coordinating and implementing successful donor stewardship, fundraising, and community engagement events.
• Assist with various fundraising efforts to support the gift officer team.
• Assist the Foundation with non-fundraising events such as donor cultivation events, campaign events, physician-initiated events, and philanthropically funded donor events.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: Five years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.
• Qualifications: Experience working collaboratively with staff at all levels within an organization, as well as with board members, volunteers, and community leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge software is beneficial.
• Ability to think strategically about how short-term efforts contribute to long-term goals.
• Motivated to establish and nurture relationships.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent social skills, with large groups as well as with individuals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
