Manager, Cyber Audit and Regulatory Engagements
About the role
Manager, Cyber Audit and Regulatory Engagements at Capital One will oversee and execute on audit, regulatory, and executive engagements. The role involves coordinating with the Chief Information Security Officer to develop content for regulatory meetings and leading cross-functional teams to improve audit, regulatory, and executive reporting artifacts.
Responsibilities
- Execute a strategic plan to enhance regulatory engagement and executive reporting programs, potentially using AI to increase efficiency.
- Drive the execution of improvements, creation, and validation of audit, regulatory, and executive reporting artifacts.
- Communicate the department's strategy, processes, and metrics effectively to stakeholders, including executive audiences.
- Maintain and monitor engagement data, analyzing trends and gaps to inform remediation strategies.
- Manage the issue resolution process, identifying and mitigating risks related to engagements, and collaborating with risk and technology teams on remediation efforts.
- Prepare the cyber organization for upcoming engagements by updating the engagement calendar and coordinating with relevant partners.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years experience in cybersecurity or technology
- At least 2 years experience in process or project management
- At least 2 years experience in risk management or audit
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of project management, IT, or Cyber audit experience preferred
- Business Process Management (BPM) certification preferred
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Cyber Risk & Analysis
