About the role

Manager, Cyber Audit and Regulatory Engagements at Capital One will oversee and execute on audit, regulatory, and executive engagements. The role involves coordinating with the Chief Information Security Officer to develop and present content for regulatory meetings. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining regulatory reporting and audit engagement processes, leading cross-functional teams, and preparing the organization for upcoming engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on a strategic plan to enhance the department’s regulatory engagement and executive reporting programs, potentially using AI to increase efficiency.
  • Drive the creation and validation of audit, regulatory, and executive reporting artifacts, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with various audiences, including stakeholders and executive committees, to ensure clear understanding of the department’s strategies, processes, and outcomes.
  • Maintain and monitor engagement data, analyzing it to assess readiness and identify areas for improvement or remediation.
  • Manage the issue resolution process, identifying risks and collaborating with relevant teams to address and mitigate them promptly.
  • Prepare the Cyber organization for upcoming engagements by updating the engagement calendar and coordinating with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or technology
  • At least 2 years of experience in process or project management
  • At least 2 years of experience in risk management or audit
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of project management, IT, or Cyber audit experience preferred
  • Business Process Management (BPM) certification preferred
  • Leverage Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location:

  • McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Cyber Risk & Analysis
