Manager Custom Framing

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
• Develop and coach the team to sell effectively.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achieve and manage team KPIs.
• Review sales and production workload, build plans, and manage sales floor time for networking.
• Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
• Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Support with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
• Interact with MODs daily on framing and other tasks.
• Remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promote commitment to the organization's vision and values; serve as a role model for others.
• Participate in truck un-loading and stocking processes to ensure compliance with standards and budget.
• Follow SOPs and ensure a safe environment.
• Help customers, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• Work in public retail store settings, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $16.00 - $22.20

Schedule

Nights, weekends, and early mornings are common work hours.
