Custom Framing Manager

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions.
• Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achieve and manage team KPIs, including sales and production workload.
• Manage inventory and execute shrink and safety programs as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD), assisting with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training new team members.
• Engage with MODs daily on framing and other tasks; interact positively with colleagues.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking, following SOPs and ensuring compliance.
• Support performance management and talent development activities.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, reaching, stretching, standing, and moving throughout the store.
• Work in public retail settings, handling customers, locating products, and providing solutions.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes as needed.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $14.00 - $19.30

Schedule

Nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required.
