About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships and creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

  • Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
  • Develop and coach the team to sell effectively.
  • Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
  • Achie and manage team KPIs; review sales and production workload; build plans and sales floor time for networking.
  • Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Interview, on-board, coach, observe, and train new Team members; support Talent Development activities; participate in Performance Management activities of your team; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
  • Partner with MOD’s daily on framing and other framer expectations.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful; promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model for others.
  • Participate in truck un-load and stocking processes to ensure standards are followed and completed within budget.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs and maintain a safe environment.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate product, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes.

Requirements

Basic computer skills. Previous custom framing experience preferred. Retail management experience and previous sales team leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

Ability to move throughout the store, stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, and proficiency in using standard office equipment.

Pay

Negotiable based on experience.
