About the role
Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships and creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
- Coach and develop the team in selling behaviors.
- Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, collaborating with the Store Manager.
- Achieve individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Manage inventory and execute shrink and safety programs as assigned.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD), assisting with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training new team members.
- Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes, ensuring compliance with standards and budget.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Engage positively with customers, helping locate products, and providing solutions.
- Support with Omni-channel processes as needed.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous custom framing experience preferred.
- Retail management experience preferred.
- Experience leading a sales team.
Physical Requirements
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to move throughout the store and stand for long periods.
- Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
