Manager Cost Accounting and Decision Support

Job Description

The Manager of Cost Accounting & Decision Support is responsible for leading the development, maintenance, and optimization of the health system's cost accounting and decision support infrastructure. This role ensures accurate allocation of costs, robust service line analytics, and actionable insights to support strategic, operational, and financial decision-making across the organization. This individual collaborates closely with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders to ensure data integrity, transparency, and alignment with organizational priorities, including margin improvement, service line growth, and performance benchmarking.

Education And Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Master's degree of Business Administration preferred.
• Accounting Certification or CPA preferred.

Experience

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role required.
• 4 years of experience in Finance and/or accounting function required.
• 4 years of experience in cost accounting role required.

Pay

Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
