Responsibilities

  • Leads inventory and cost accounting for U.S. golf ball manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, standard costing, and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Serves as a key business partner to plant leadership, translating manufacturing and cost data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Oversees month-end close activities, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and audit support.
  • Plays a critical role in SAP ERP governance, process improvement initiatives, and global ERP implementations.
  • Collaborates closely with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and Finance teams, combining technical accounting expertise with strategic business partnership to enhance financial performance and operational decision-making across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on manufacturing, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and public company financial reporting environments.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and automated accounting/inventory management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under tight close and reporting deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Prior supervisory experience required, including leading and developing accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred but not required.
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
  • A solid understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and public company financial reporting environments.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and automated accounting/inventory management systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
