Responsibilities
- Lead the cost accounting function, including inventory valuation, standard costing, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Provide program-level cost analytics and leadership within Program Management Offices (PMOs) to ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Partner with Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain and other business unit leadership to provide actionable insights that drive cost awareness, efficiency, profitability, and informed decision-making.
- Manage and develop cost accounting staff, including Program Financial Analysts matrixed to PMOs, providing guidance, oversight, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Develop and maintain financial models to improve forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Prepare and present detailed cost analysis and reports to support business decisions, including KPIs and dashboards to senior leadership.
- Support capital expenditure analysis and ROI modeling for new projects or investments.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial regulations.
- Prepare and present assigned cost analysis reports, KPIs, and dashboards to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 7 years of cost accounting experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with inventory and warehouse management including cycle count.
- Experience with standard costing systems and variance analysis.
- Experience or ability to develop capability to extract ERP financial information (Infor Syteline ideally, or similar).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Capability or desire to develop ability to present to senior management.
- Flexible in task assignments / ability to work across departmental lines.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- US Citizen.

- Experience with ERP financial information extraction (Infor Syteline ideally, or similar).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

Pay
$155,000 - $165,000
