About the role
Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's compensation programs, including base pay and salary structures, incentive plans, and bonuses to ensure the ability to attract and retain employees. Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to maintain competitive pay structures and ensure internal equity. This role involves analyzing job roles, evaluating performance data, and advising HR and leadership on pay decisions. Oversees the annual merit cycle, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of compensation experience in a similar role
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations, including FLSA, EEO, and ADA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
