Role Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous commercial and strategic market-entry assessments for targeted global industries (Steel, Refining, Chemicals, and Low-Carbon Fuels).
- Monitor, analyze, and map out regional government policies, carbon credits, and clean energy subsidies/incentives applicable to H₂Gen® technology commercialization.
- Deliver comprehensive commercial pre-briefings and strategic debriefs for industry conferences to capitalize on pipeline opportunities.
- Architect high-impact, professional presentations and commercial narratives for executive-level customer pitches and stakeholder briefings.
- Participate directly in customer discovery meetings, manage follow-up cadences, and ensure a highly polished, competitive customer journey.
- Maintain and optimize a high-quality, up-to-date global customer relationship database to accurately track pipeline progression.
- Redefine as needed, implement, and manage the internal sales process, establishing the standard toolkits, tracking systems, and operational cadences used to manage business development performance.
- Lead commercial priority initiatives as defined in partnership with individual executive leaders and the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
- Resource-plan and optimize business development pipelines to bridge commercial targets with core company capabilities.
- Manage and refine project economic models to analyze preliminary levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) and build simplified Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) project return structures.
- Collaborate with Business Development leadership to ensure underlying project economics support value-based pricing and commercial framework strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations).
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in corporate strategy, commercial business development, top-tier management consulting, or investment banking.
- Transformation Capabilities: Proven track record in business transformation and operational performance improvement—moving projects seamlessly from early-stage planning through contract execution and continuous tracking.
- Agility: Preference for candidates who have operating experience in both highly structured large corporations and rapid-growth start-up/scale-up environments.
- Economic Acumen: Strong financial acumen with direct experience evaluating project economics, financial returns, levelized hydrogen costs (LCOH), and DCF analysis.
- Strategic Orientation: Demonstrated ability to evaluate multi-industry markets, analyze regulatory landscapes/pricing mechanisms, and support technology commercialization efforts.
- Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a distinct talent for translating complex technical or financial data into clean, visual, and compelling executive presentations.
- Influence: Strong interpersonal skills with an innate ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and commercial functions to drive organizational growth.
