Pricing Discipline
Pricing discipline is what protects margin in a fast-growing consumer business and this role owns it. As Commercial Pricing Manager, you will be the steward of how SharkNinja prices its products to retailers: running the approval process, safeguarding front-end margin standards, and keeping our pricing data accurate across Oracle and our Sales Planning tool.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing Controls & Approval Process: Own the pricing approval process end-to-end, holding decisions to strategic goals and retailer front-end margin standards. Investigate deviations from standard margin requirements and deliver recommendations to Commercial and Finance that protect gross margin. Maintain and refine pricing controls so they hold accuracy and consistency across every customer segment. Own SharkNinja’s price list keeping updates timely and accurately reflected across every system that consumes it.
System Integration & Process Management: Manage the pricing system’s integration with Oracle and the internal Sales Planning tool, so data flows cleanly and stays accurate end-to-end. Partner with IT and Finance to improve pricing processes, using Oracle and adjacent platforms to keep pricing data consistent and accurate across every system of record. Serve as the subject-matter expert on pricing system functionality, supporting Commercial, Finance, and Order Management.
Partnership With Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Commercial organization to align on pricing strategy, updates, and controls. Train commercial teams on pricing processes, controls, and system functionality so they can operate confidently within them. Drive cross-functional work with Finance, Order Management, and IT to keep pricing strategy moving without friction. Be the go-to escalation point for pricing issues, resolving them quickly and keeping stakeholders informed.
Process Improvement & Reporting: Build and roll out process improvements that make pricing management more efficient and scalable. Track key pricing metrics and report on compliance, accuracy, and effectiveness. Surface actionable insights to senior leadership on pricing trends, system performance, and where to invest next.
