Manager, Channel Marketing

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of marketing plans and sampling strategy, including product launches, promotional activities and merchandising strategy.
- Define and implement retailer marketing programs, including the management of presentations, calendars, merchandising, promotional programs, sampling, and retailer co-ad.
- Partner with Sales, Brand and Comms teams on long term planning to ensure Channel specific needs are considered.
- Partner with Media team to develop Channel specific advertising, promotions, and supporting content in collaboration with brand marketing, ecomm, and creative.
- Identify and execute strategic marketing opportunities exclusive to the Channel as well as in-store & online branding programs, in partnership with sales, events, visual merchandising, and integrated marketing.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance tracking the success of each initiative.
- Forecast sampling and GWP programs, managing timelines and quantities with S&OP and NPD partners.
- Gather quantitative and qualitative feedback from the field to determine performance and impact of marketing programs and provide recommendations for program improvements.
- Manage marketing budgets, including monthly reconciliation and forecasting, to ensure plans are executed on time and within financial guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve productivity and enhance customer omni experience.
- Collaborate with Sales to develop tailored and impactful activations that resonate with customer base and align with brand objectives.
- Analyze SKU and category performance in Channel to identify opportunities to grow key categories in each account.
- Provide analysis and feedback on major product launches as well as core business performance.
- Collaborate with account to develop tailored and impactful activations that resonate with customer base and align with brand objectives.
- Oversee the execution of product launches and promotional activities in store and online and collaborate with Events on seasonal events.
- Identify opportunities to optimize marketing programs.
- Initiate merchandising and visual opportunities specific to stores with visual merchandising team.
- Monitor best practices in Beauty and Luxury sector to identify opportunities.
- Lead direct reports, including Channel Marketing Coordinator and seasonal Intern when applicable.
Requirements
- 5+ years marketing experience in beauty, retail or luxury experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
- Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumen, including past experience managing budgets like sampling and POSM.
- Mastery of execution; meticulous organization, excellent communication and consistent follow-through.
- Detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency and ability to manage deadlines with speed and accuracy.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work with people from cross functional departments – dynamic, flexible, positive attitude.
- Embrace both big picture objectives and impeccable follow through and time management skills.
- Organization and prioritization with a proven ability to multi-task and manage complexity.
- Strong oral, written, communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of current marketing trends, media industry news, competitive marketplace, and retail innovation.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Circana (formerly NPD) reporting experience a plus.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
