About the role

Gordon Brothers is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to drive demand, increase client engagement, and support revenue growth across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Increase market penetration across business lines through marketing tactics supporting business development efforts.
  • Develop and implement channel marketing strategies aligned with business and sales strategy to drive brand awareness of individual business lines within markets served.
  • Create and execute deal marketing campaigns using various mediums such as PR, print, online advertising, email, social media, and website updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and channel partners.
  • Maintain and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs, analyze market trends and channel performance to inform marketing strategies, optimize efforts, and drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee the creation of effective thought leadership and content across multiple formats including written, visual, digital, and video materials, pitch documents, case studies, marketing collateral, email, direct mail, newsletters, speaking engagements, and byline articles.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team on all creative and branding initiatives to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • 7-10 years of B2B marketing/communications experience, preferably within a financial/professional services sector.
  • Experience with M&A, turnaround, retail, and/or industrial industries a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and influencing and engaging effectively.
  • Proven record of successful development and execution of integrated marketing plans.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and adept at working with people from all levels of seniority to drive the marketing agenda forward and achieve results for business stakeholders.
  • Well-rounded marketer with good business acumen and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, highly organized, dynamic, and resourceful.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to act as a brand ambassador by ensuring attention to detail, consistency, and quality across initiatives.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), experience with CRM (Salesforce), email (Marketo, Hubspot, etc.), and social platforms or project management software (Asana, Monday, Workfront, etc.) a plus.
