About the role

The Manager, Care Management Support contributes to the administration of care management. They provide non-clinical support to assess and evaluate members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitating interaction with appropriate resources.

Responsibilities

  • Works within specific guidelines and procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
  • Determines approach, resources, schedules, and goals for assignments.
  • Conducts briefings and area meetings, and maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration is required.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Illinois.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 or more years of technical experience with Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • 3 or more years of management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data trends.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability of critical thinking, organization, written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience working in a managed care field (preferred).
  • 5 or more years of previous management/supervisor level experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of community health and social service agencies and additional community resources (preferred).

    Pay

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $78,400 - $107,800 per year.

    Schedule

    Typically, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible with schedule if needed) with rotating on-call/oversight during weekends and holidays.

    Work Location and Travel

    Hybrid Office – This is a hybrid office position where employees primarily operate from the company office with occasional work from home to support focus work and work/life balance needs.

    Additional Information

    Direct Reports: Up to 15 Associates.
