Manager, Arena Technology Operations

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Arena Technology Operations Manager to join our team.
About the role
Manage a specialized team of Technology Support Engineers
Supervise and mentor a diverse group of team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and job fulfilment
Daily collaboration with other leaders to build camaraderie and cross-functional efficiency, with an aim towards operational excellence for the team, department, and organization
Manager will be expected to support, fill in, and advocate for a highly technical staff; functional knowledge and technical skills can be developed over time – willingness to learn is essential
Position requires non-traditional availability: ability to flex hours for nights and weekends will be required to support events as the manager on duty
Responsibilities
- Utilize a project management skillset to oversee capital construction projects, internal equipment installations and successful process development
- Lead department’s project management system, overseeing development of project plans, budgets and resource allocation
- Lead large-scale technology projects from initiation through completion, delegating smaller projects to team members as needed
- Cook up with cross-functional teams, including own team and external stakeholders, to ensure project requirements are met and risks are effectively mitigated
- Oversee department asset management, including inventory management, routine maintenance and equipment lifecycles
- Work with Director, Arena Technology to ensure healthy lifecycles for equipment by maintaining a phased, budgeted equipment replacement plan
- Collaborate with Technology Services stakeholders on the implementation of asset management protocols

- Experience utilizing Monday.com or similar project management tools
- Proven track record of record keeping and data management
- Experience in technology and operations environments
- Understanding of budget management and technology lifecycles
- Proven track record of problem solving in a timely manner
- Familiarity with control room operations, broadcast technology, systems and network administration, and/or live audio and lighting systems
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Certifications (or proven experience) in any of the following highly preferred: CAPM, PMP, Q-Sys, Dante
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role with multiple direct reports
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an independent project manager, demonstrating proven ability to plan, manage and complete technical projects

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
Base salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications
Schedule
