About the role
The role involves preparing and auditing financial statements for alternative investment products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The position requires collaboration with various teams within Fidelity and interacting with customers and business partners.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports for BDCs, Limited Partnerships, and REITs with investments in alternative asset classes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and product-specific requirements
- Collaborate with all levels of staff and business partners to recommend changes to systems, processes, responsibilities, and reporting
- Participate and lead operational efficiencies to scale and automate processes for growing product lines
- Represent the business to customers and business partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree expected
- 5+ years of financial services experience, preferably in accounting operations or administration for alternative investment products
- Strong knowledge of accounting and operational knowledge for alternative asset classes
- Experience preparing financial statements and related content for 10-K and 10-Q filings
- Effective collaboration skills with all levels of staff and business partners
- Strong computer and application skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
