Manager, AI Revenue Operations

Turn/River Capital · San Francisco, CA · 2 wk ago
HybridEngineering$170k–$180k/yrFull-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Turn/River’s sales, customer success, and finance leads, as well as the data team and portfolio companies, as a thought partner on how AI can accelerate revenue growth, retention, and renewal performance.
  • Workflow Identification & Re-Engineering: Bring a systematic lens to revenue operations, identifying high-value automation opportunities across the full customer lifecycle. Decompose manual workflows—from pipeline creation to renewal processing—into agent-ready components: skills, tools, evaluation frameworks, and feedback loops.
  • Portfolio Company Collaboration: On a project basis, partner directly with portfolio company revenue teams on specific initiatives—for example, building and testing AI-powered workflows that support a portfolio company’s sales productivity, renewal automation, or churn reduction programs.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Analytics: Build AI-assisted reporting and forecasting frameworks that provide real-time visibility into pipeline health, deal velocity, and revenue risk. Surface insights that help sales and CS leadership identify gaps, prioritize accounts, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Renewal & Retention Automation: Design and deploy intelligent workflows that automate the renewal cycle—including proactive risk identification, renewal outreach sequencing, expansion opportunity detection, and churn propensity modeling—to protect and grow net revenue retention.
  • AI Agent Design & Development: Design and build autonomous AI agents that execute revenue workflows—including lead qualification, opportunity scoring, account health monitoring, renewal triggers, and win/loss analysis—with minimal human intervention.
  • Frontier AI Adoption: Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape—new models, agent frameworks, and revenue intelligence tooling—and rapidly prototype and deploy new capabilities to keep Turn/River’s revenue function at the cutting edge.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience building AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, or intelligent automation systems in a production environment.
  • Real-world application of AI to improve revenue in a commercial business & extensive knowledge of primary AI platforms.
  • 4–7 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or go-to-market strategy, with demonstrated experience applying AI/ML tools to sales or customer success workflows.
  • Deep familiarity with the B2B SaaS revenue tech stack: CRM platforms (Salesforce or equivalent), revenue intelligence tools, CPQ, and customer success platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience building pipeline dashboards, renewal forecasts, and retention analytics.
  • Structured thinker who can break complex revenue processes into systems of components, root causes, and dependencies.
  • Strong communicator who can distill technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with sales and CS leaders.
  • Hands-on, execution-oriented, and accountable for results—this is a building role, not an advisory one.
  • Curious, experimental operator who continuously tests new approaches and technologies.
