Manager, Affiliate Program (Publisher)

About the role
CR’s Shopping program extends our expert recommendations beyond product selection to help consumers make smarter purchase decisions. We make it easier for people to buy the right products, at the right price, from vetted online retailers whenever they are ready to shop. We’re looking for an experienced, affiliate-savvy marketer to manage the growth and day-to-day execution of our program. The Manager, Affiliate Program (Publisher) will report to the Associate Director, Shopping while working directly with our affiliate partners, retailers, and commerce platforms to maintain operational excellence, support partner relationships, and execute initiatives that drive revenue performance.
This is a hybrid position with anticipated monthly on-site meetings. This position is not eligible for sponsorship or relocation support.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with affiliate partners, retailers, and commerce platforms to support relationship development, identify performance opportunities, and help build deeper partnerships that advance our affiliate program and deliver value to consumers.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of the affiliate program, including link management, QA, and partner onboarding.
- Maintain and track promotional activity, deals, and partner initiatives.
- Monitor partner performance and collaborate with analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams (product, editorial, marketing) to support affiliate initiatives and improve the shopping experience.
- Ensure operational consistency, including resolving tracking issues and maintaining partner coverage.
- Assist in developing strategies to grow and optimize affiliate revenue.
- Prepare reports and summaries to support internal communication and decision-making.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or digital business.
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing models and tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience working with affiliate networks or commerce platforms such as Impact, CJ Affiliate, Skimlinks, or similar tools.
- Experience working directly with retailers, affiliate partners, agencies, or content publishers and understanding how to build productive, relationship-based partnerships.

Pay
At Consumer Reports, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation based on location, as well as the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. Salary ranges:
- NY/California: $110K–$125K annually
- DMV/Massachusetts: $105,200K–$118,200K annually
- Colchester, CT and additional approved CR locations: $92K–$105K annually
