About the role

Manage the Financial Operations of General Accounting
Manage month end close activities for the Obligated Group and Consolidated Entities
Manage General Ledger ERP system processes and procedures for accurate and appropriate transactions
Ensure monthly and annual financial reporting packages are submitted timely and accurately
Ensure quarterly and annual DAC Bond reports are reviewed and submitted timely and accurately
Ensure completion of monthly and annual tax filings
Manage internal and external audit engagements and conformity of corporate policies and procedures
Support the annual budgetary process as needed
Budgetary responsibilities for General Accounting department
Assist with Finance related issues as requested.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting with direct healthcare or public accounting experience preferred
• Management experience required or demonstrated through previous job experience and responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Accounting or Finance required
• MBA degree preferred

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
